After School Performing & Fine Arts Classes

We feel very fortunate that we stumbled upon Illumination Learning Studio when we moved here from the Midwest four years ago. Our now 7-year-old has loved every minute of ILS whether it be preschool, after school classes or summer camp programs. The staff have treated us like family. I highly recommend ILS not only as a means for an after school program but more importantly introducing children to the benefits and fun of performing arts.

My daughter attended ILS for four years and we can’t say enough good things about her experience. ILS ensured that she was safe, supported and had options to spark her personality to emerge through acting, dancing, yoga, thoughtful games. She found many mentors in the teachers and really grew into a kind and creative human. They taught her to work through problems that naturally arise in early childhood education and how to communicate with others in a respectful way. ILS compliments school to ensure students are well rounded. Thank you to ILS, we feel fortunate to have you in our neighborhood!

Just can’t say enough good things about ILS. My daughter started there in Kindergarten and has stayed through 2nd grade. This isn’t day care, they provide art instruction, homework help, yoga, drama and music, and cultural studies. All the employees are lovely and they work to create a really positive culture with the kids. My daughter feels like it is a second home. Would recommend it without hesitation to anyone in the neighborhood.

Both of my kids have gone to ILS during elementary school and we’ve been ILS customers for five years. The arts programming has been fantastic–my kids have learned things about music history, for example, that I did not even know myself until adulthood! And sometimes when they share what they learned at ILS, they teach me something! The instructors are energetic and each has an area of expertise in the arts to give kids wholistic exposure (e.g., drama, music, dance, painting) to the arts that they’re unlikely to receive at public school. I’ve kept my son’s spot at ILS throughout the pandemic as a calculated risk to give him some structure and normalcy during this stressful year, and I feel very comfortable with the health procedures in place at ILS. I highly recommend ILS.

ILS has provided wonderful after school enrichment for my children for the past 3 years, in addition to wonderful summer camps. During COVID, they have ensured safety with strict enforcement of health policies. I love that my daughter can still have some “fun” during these difficult times.
